Viewing Snapshot Data

Last updated: April 10, 2026

Snapshots capture data at a moment in time, update the available view for non-admins, and allow change analysis by comparing two points in time. Using naming conventions will make it easier to know which snapshot to choose and understand what you are viewing.

View Comparisons between 2 Snapshots:

  1. In SOV Manger, click the Latest Dropdown.

  1. In the view data as of drop-down, choose the snapshot that you want to compare to an earlier date, for example, Latest to choose the most recent snapshot.

  1. In the Changes Since dropdown, choose the snapshot of the earlier date.

  1. You can see which properties are ongoing (exist in both snapshots), New (added since the older snapshot), and Disposed (disposed of between the 2 snapshots).

  1. You can expand any of these groups of properties to see the property list and drill into property details.

  1. In SOV Manger, click the Latest Dropdown.

  1. In the view data as of drop-down, choose the snapshot that you want to view.

  1. Leave the Changes Since drop-down blank.

  1. Your SOV manager will now show the data when the snapshot was taken.
